Market and Challenge
In the last year, the five largest betting companies globally generated u$s 12 billion dollars in profits. Almost all sports betting platforms are centralized in large companies. Also, they are limited to specific geographies; therefore, not all the public can participate. It is a business that generates a lot of income, but is limited to a few actors. It is challenging to enter that circle. Another big problem is that being closed and centralized platforms, the probabilistic variables that these companies use to calculate the payout ratio are unknown, so it is susceptible to price manipulation for the company's benefit, not the player. Like the famous anonymous quote says, "The bank always wins."
